Personality:
+Intuitive, Adaptable, Calculated, Informative, Sharp, Generous, Cautious, Compassionate, Honest, Organized.

-Sensitive, Escapist, Pessimistic, Condescending, Unapologetic, Vindictive, Survivalist, Stubborn.

If you asked Beau what his personallity type was, he would tell you that he is true to his sign. Born on March 1st, he is a Pisces, and the ebb and flow of his personallity reflects this. He might appear passionate and driven one moment and then weak willed and reclusive the next. Being a sensitive sort, he is highly intuned with the feelings of those around him, and this can drastically affect his mood, giving him a very bleak outlook sometimes. He makes it a priority to meditate daily to ensure he keeps his emotions and the emotions of those around him in check and seperate. However, while it can sometimes have negative effects on him, Beau's empathy and compassion are probably his greatest quality. He is extremely giving and nurturing, always willing to offer guidence or teach those around him about meditation and yoga, to help encourage calm in an otherwise chaotic world.

Beau's strong intuitive sense has not only taught him to be in tuned with the people around him, but with his surroundings as well. He relies heavily on his instincts, allowing his gut feelings to dictate his actions when it comes to being outside the safe zone. He seems to be good at feeling when something is wrong before the shit hits the fan, and he always follows it, quick to get the hell out of dodge whether you're coming with him or not. While he is loyal do a degree, he also has a strong will to live and has no problem adopting the "every man for himself" code; his fight or flight response tends to lean towards flight, and he is not above finding his own escape route and leaving others to fend for themselves. This is why he prefers that anyone who escourts him outside of the prison be an extremely capable person who understands he will leave your ass if you're being reckless.

It is pretty clear upon meeting Beau that he is very intelligent. He's very articulate and confident in his own skin, being very sure of who he is and what his strengths are. This sometimes makes him a little condescending to anyone who has a weaker personallity type, though he doesn't mean harm by it. Infact, he typically has no idea that he's being scathing till someone's pointed it out. However, he tends to not apologize for being who he is, and will sooner say "I'm sorry you were offended" rather than "I'm sorry I was offensive" since he feels he is very rarely wrong. Though, don't expect him to feel that way when the tables turn. He has a sensitive nature and can be easily offended as well, especially if he feels wronged by someone dear to him. However, he's no good at holding grudges, so normally he's just a huge brat for short period of time, anywhere from a day to a week before he simply seems to forget about it and move on.

Pre-Apocalyptic History: Before the fall of the world, Beau lived in Montreal. He lived a relatively luxurious life as his mother was a Biomedical Engineer and his father was a Medical Physicist. However, he wasn't just a silver spoon fed brat. His parents put a lot of pressure on him and his education. He was put through private schools, excelling in all advanced classes, and still somehow finding time to be enrolled in gymnastics for extracharicular credits. By the time he graduated highschool at 17, thanks to duel enrollment programs, he'd managed to gain an associates degree in rehabilitative psychology. His parents wished for him to press forward with his education and achieve his goal of becoming a Physical Therapist, but by this point, he was exhausted with school and only wanted a break.
He took a year off, and in that time focused on gymnastics, participating at a local club as a junior instructor. He loved it, and the people there, making some of the first real friends he'd ever had in his life, finally not preoccupied with meeting his parent's ridiculous expectations. He met a girl there named Angel who was a yoga instructor and he began attending her classes and learning yoga, which he became obsessed with, picking it up pretty quickly and becoming a certified instructor by the time he was 19 with Angel's help. However, his parents soon decided that he had taken a long enough break and needed to get back on track with his schooling. When he told them he wanted to open up a yoga school instead, they were not enthused. They gave him an ultimatum, insisting that he go back to school for physical therapy, or any "real" job, for that matter, or they would cut him off.

Hurt by their lack of support, he chose the ladder and wound up leaving home, moving to Toronto with Angel who he'd come to see as a best friend and older sister sort of figure. They planned to be business partners, both of them enrolling in community college to get their bachelors in business. It was certainly a different way of life than what Beau had been used to, rooming with Angel in a small apartment in a less than safe neighborhood. However, he was determined to make his plans work, so he took some self defense classes, bought a can of mace, and made the best of it.

He found a job working at a hotel that Angel had started working at as a room service girl. He managed to secure a position as a concierge thanks to his knack for orginization and planning. Things settled for him and his best friend for a time as they worked toward their plans. And then all hell broke loose.

Post-Apocalyptic History: Beau was working at the hotel when shit hit the fan. He was sorting a planner for a guest in the back office, ignoring the news which was playing the same story over and over all morning, as it was not helping this uneasy feeling he'd been experiencing since he'd arrived at work. The first signs of something being seriously wrong occured in the mid afternoon when a truck crashed through the glass front of the hotel, and into the lobby fountain. Some of the workers ran out, to see what the commotion was, Beau included. A couple of valet guys ran in to check on the driver, who from where Beau was standing looked dead, as he apparently wasn't wearing a seat belt, slumped agaisnt the steering wheel and looking bloody. However, when the Valets opened the door to get to the man, he suddenly got a second wind, and attacked them, and then panic struck, everyone running and screaming. Beau ended up with a group of his coworkers, running outside to try and get away from the lunatic inside, only to be met with chaos outside as well.

With the help of two co-workers, he made it to his apartment complex to get Angel and then rush to the police station, where they'd be safe. However when they got to his building they were shocked to find it in flames. Beau lept out of the car prepared to rush inside to get his best friend, but then by some miracle she came stumbling out of the smokey building, and he ran to her, relieved. But it wasn't what he thought. When he got close and called out, her head jerked in an unatural way, and he noticed the blood on her shirt. When she looked at him her face was torn and bloody, eyes void of life, yet somehow ferral at the same time. He stumbled back, yelping as she charged him, and he shrunk into the fetal position as she lunged, but then there was a deafening bang and Angel toppled onto him, limp and lifeless.

He flailed, screaming as he tried to shove her off before a hand grabbed his arm and wrenched him to his feet, shaking him. He looked up to see his neighbor from across the hall, a middle aged man named Martin who was an ex-cop. He had a gun in his hand and he was saying something, but Beau was in such a state of shock it took a moment for the words to reach him. "Were you bitten?!" Martin kept yelling, and Beau shook his head, dazed. "I have to get back to the car," he mummbled faintly, looking over to where the creature that was his best friend layed crumpled on the ground, shaking his head. "The police station- we have to-" but when he turned around the car and his coworkers were gone.

Scared and left with no other options, he stuck with Martin who insisted they get out of the city. He followed the man, running into other survivors along the way. They held up in a gas station for a short while with the others. But they knew they couldn't stay forever and they started trying to come up with a plan. One of the people with them mentioned Maplehurst, and it made sense. A strong prison, big walls and supplies- And so they started planning, Beau taking a large part in making the plan to get them there. It took them weeks to make it to the Prison, their group having significantly shrunk by the time they reached the complex after running into a couple hoards of flesh eaters along the way. When they arrived, they were relieved to find that people had managed to get the prison under control. However, in the midst of the apocolypse, people don't just give free rides. So they had to barter their way in, offering everything they had on them to the small group that had taken over the correctional facility, including any skills they had to offer.

In Beau's case, he was good at planning, and more in-shape than the average person. He offered to be one of the errand boys, to go out and collect supplies. Martin of course offered his skills as an ex-officer. They were a good team. Martin and Beau had an understanding- always keep moving, never look back- no matter what happens. Beau only faltered in this rule once the day that Martin lost his footing climbing a fire escape. He turned to get him only for Martin to scream at him to go, and then flesh eaters swarmed him, and Beau stood there for a moment in shock. This almost got him killed as it only took a moment for more to converge. He had to hide out for a night before he could safely get back to the prison without having a whole hoard follow him. Since that day, he follows Martin's rules. He moves fast and will never turn back.
